How to Set up Authenticator app for 2FA
1. Navigate to https://phelix.pixelogicmedia.com/localization-library
2. Click your name on the top right hand corner.
3. Click "Manage Account"
4. Click "Account security"
5. Click "Signing in"
6. Click "Set up Authenticator application"
7. Click the "Password" field and type in your password.
Install following application on your mobile device:
- Google Authenticator *MOST RECOMMENDED
- Microsoft Authenticator
8. Once you have downloaded the app Scan the QR code
9. Type in your one time code from your app of choice into the One time code field and you are all set (In my example I used Google Authenticator).
NOTE:
Moving forward you will be using your authenticator app to log in. You will no long receive a text or email with a log in code. Once you have installed the app it is to remain on your phone.
How to set up Authenticator for Google chrome
1. Navigate to Google Chrome
2. Click the 3 vertical dots on the top right hand corner.
3. Click the Extensions menu item
4. Click the Visit Chrome Web Store menu item
5. Click the search bar and type in Authenticator
6. Click on the first authenticator option.
7. Click add to chrome
8. Click the Add extension button
9. Click the Extensions pop up button that looks like a puzzle piece
10. Pin authenticator to your browser.
11. Navigate to https://phelix.pixelogicmedia.com to begin configuring OTP (2Fa)
12. Log in to pHelix
13. Navigate to the right hand corner and click on your initials. A dropdown menu will appear.
14. Click on Manage account.
15. Click on the arrow next to account security on the left side of the page.
16. Click on signing in
17. On the right side of the page click on set up authenticator application
18. You will land on this page. Skip to step 19
19. Click the Authenticator (QR code icon) in the top right corner of your screen next to your search bar.
20. Click the QR Code Button (looks like a minus symbol between two brackets) in the top right corner, as seen in the picture below.
21. A cross will appear that you will be able to use as scissors to "cut "out the QR code.
22. Once it registers the QR code it will let you know the QR has been added.
23. Double-click here
24. Click the Authenticator icon (looks like a tiny QR code) on the top right side.
25. Click the New Tab tab
26. Click the Authenticator pop up button
27. Click here
28. When you right click on the number it will ask you if you want to copy click allow.
Tip: Tip! Moving forward you will always be able to copy the number. Please note that the code refreshes every couple of seconds. Theres always a "clock" icon 🕑 inside the code box that indicates how much time is left.
29. Type in the code that the authenticator app produces and name your device then click submit.
30. Once all of the steps are complete you will always use this code to log in as seen below.
31. Log in.
32. Click on your OTP Method
33. Click the Authenticator on the top right hand corner.
34. Sign in with your email and password and it will prompt you to type in the code provided by the authenticator and sign in.
