The following is a guide on how to upload assets to Disney Transfer Manager aka TM2.
These instructions assume you have Terminal open and are in the correct location.
Refer to Disney Transfer Manager TM2 – Pixelogic Media if needed.
Here is an example task:
Step One
Step One
In the open Terminal, drag tm2_Upload_DataIO.sh onto the window.
Click on the anywhere in the Terminal window and hit Enter.
Step Two
You will be prompted with the question What is the name of this package? (no spaces):
Name your package anything you like, just make sure it has no spaces.
Once you name your package hit Enter.
Step Three
You will be prompted with two choices
1. Production is for live production.
2. Staging is only for testing.
Type 1.
Step Four
Here you will be prompted with six selections.
Refer to your task for which destination to choose.
In this example, this will be selection 6 as it's DDSS - DMC - Puma Inbound.
Hit Enter.
Step Five
Before uploading you will need to copy your file to a staging location.
This process uploads a folder and everything in it.
Here the file is staged below
\\bur-pixit\pxl-pfs02\_Staging\Frank\
This location you will type will be /mnt/pxl-pfs02/_Staging/Frank.
You can use something similar. Just be sure to note the location.
NOTE do not add a "/*" at the end of the path. The script will add it for you.
Step Six
Enter your staging path into the prompt.
Hit Enter.
Step Seven
The script will review the selections you've made.
If everything looks correct type "Yes".
Step Eight
Watch your file upload.
Once complete you should see this.
Step Nine
Confirm delivery on Disney's site. You'll see it under the name of the package you created in step two.
