Wonderland Delivery with Semi-Automation

This guide will demonstrate how to change a manual Wonderland delivery into a semi-automated delivery.

For a file to be delivered in this manner it must have the following:

1. A Short ID
2. Be a first time or redelivery

Note this will NOT work for ProTools Super Sessions (PTSS) or IMF/IMP packages.

Step 1

              Assign the task to yourself.

Step 2

              Change the task to In Progress

Step 3

              Verify that the file is named correctly AND has a Short ID. If possible, verify both against the SHOW FOLDERS.

Step 4

              Ensure that the asset details have the correct Short ID. Click on the asset in the input requirements. A new page will open.

Step 5

              On this new page click on “External Systems” there should be a “Disney Wonderland” Entry. Ensure that this Short ID matches what’s on the asset in Step 3.

If there is no entry you can add one. Hover over an existing entry and click . A blank entry will appear select “Disney Wonderland” from the dropdown.

This will add an empty field. Add your Wonderland ID to this field. 

Step 6

Change the task type to the following:

Shared / System Tasks / Delivery / Wonderland Delivery (Combined)

Refresh if necessary.

Step 7

Click on Task Workflow Fields Icon.

Step 8

This will bring you to the Task Workflow Field section.

1. First-time deliveries.
   • Nothing to do. Proceed to next step. 😊
2. Re-deliveries
   • Fill in the necessary fields provided on Task Instructions and click on the Replacement Mandatory box.

Step 9

              Click on the “Create Execution” button.

Step 10

              Ensure delivery has started by clicking on “Task Execution” section.

Step 11

              You will see the delivery commencement in this section. It will say “Wonderland Delivery (Combined)”

Step 12

Wait for your delivery to complete. The section at the bottom will change to say “Completed”

Your task will change to “Completed” automatically.

FAQs

1. Can I deliver more than one asset at a time?

• Yes! As long as all assets have a Short ID. You can. Each asset shell will count as one delivery.

2. What if I accidently send a file with no Short ID in the External Systems?

• Your delivery will fail but will not cause an issue. Either put a Short ID into External fields or upload to Wonderland manually.

Bonus Section

In addition, you can monitor your delivery on the Wonderland side. Go to Wonderland.

And click on the small boxes on the right to pull up a menu. Select “Looking Glass”.

This will show all deliveries being made, including from other groups.

Click on the blue page icon of the heading you want to see.

All our deliveries will be under an “Ingest Request Remote Pixelogic Hot Folder US West 2 (Sidecar Ingest)” heading. When the green bar reaches all the way to the right. That means ingest is complete. Note that it sometimes takes a few minutes before your delivery will appear here.

On the next page will display the details of the delivery. Here you can see where in the delivery process your file is. When all steps are completed, your delivery is finished.
